Traffic - road and rail
During planning and construction of roads and other transport facilities ACCON provides a range of noise and air pollution related services. Examples are the determination of future road lines, to calculate the noise distribution and advice for planning approval or zoning procedures such as the handling of physical noise abatement measures and passive noise protection for affected residents.
In critical planning procedures we support the weighting process by an overall balance of alternative solutions. With mobile long-term monitoring stations, we monitor the environmental impacts during construction and after initial operation of the operational scheme. The noise impact together with necessary weather information can be recorded over both short and long term periods.
We have these services on behalf of the Highway Administration Südbayern, Deutsche Bahn AG, DB Project Transportation GmbH, Augsburg, Ingolstadt and City of Ravensburg.
